Pierre Casamatta
Co-Managing Director
Pierre Casamatta has been at the origin of our project; at the time, he was in charge of Adisseo’s Corporate Strategy and developing an extensive Aquaculture Strategy. Developing a concept around the Single Cell Protein was a clear target and partnering with Calysta was an obvious choice.

Pierre decided to devote his full time to the project and has been the Co-Managing Director of Calysseo since its creation in 2020. Pierre has developed extensive knowledge of the feed additives industry over the last 17 years, having been Adisseo’s Methionine Director for seven years. He also held several leadership positions in Operations & Supply Chain for Adisseo.

Prior to this, Pierre has worked for 15 years with Shell holding various positions in Business Management, Operations & Finance in various locations such as Europe, USA & Saudi Arabia. Pierre was also a Strategy Consultant with Booz Allen for several years. Pierre holds a Business Degree from HEC in Paris.
Dennis Leong
Co-Managing Director
Dennis Leong has been the Co-Managing Director of Calysseo since November 2021. He also is Calysta’s Vice President of Business Development. Dennis has more than 35 years of experience in the international engineering, technology and construction industry with more than 20 years in an executive capacity.

Prior to joining Calysta, Dennis was with Chemtex Global S.A., an international technology and engineering company where he was the Executive Vice President responsible for global marketing and business development activities. Dennis was an integral part of the leadership team that launched and established Chemtex’s (now Beta Renewables’) proprietary cellulosic sugars/ethanol platform
in the marketplace.

Before Chemtex, Dennis spent nearly 20 years with the Aker Solutions (previously Aker Kvaerner) Group, a global EPC contractor. Prior to his departure, he was the Director of Business Development for its Global Process Business, the division responsible for providing engineering and construction solutions to the onshore oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.
Dennis has extensive international experience having been posted to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Dennis is a registered professional engineer in Canada.
Sun Bin
Chairman,
Legal representative of Calysseo (Chongqing) Co., Ltd.,
and General Manager of Calysta China
He joined in 2020. Sun Bin has more than twenty years’ experience in Petrochemical engineering, project execution, plant operation and plant site selections. He also has experience in marketing
and sales in Aquaculture Feed industry. Before joining Calysseo and Calysta, he was Vice President of Shanghai Hoto Engineering (Shanghai) Company.
Prior to Hoto, Sun Bin was the marketing and sales manager for Aker Kvaerner (Shanghai) Engineering Company, and Technology Licensing Specialist for Dupont (Shanghai) Ltd. He was the Chief Engineer for the Second Phase of Liaoyang Petrochemical Company Limited, Petrochina from 1999-2002. For the previous
7 years, he was the senior engineer, engineer, and shift superintendent for Liaoyang Petrochemical. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from ZheJiang University.
Haitao Peng
General Manager of Calysseo Chongqing
Haitao PENG joined Calysseo (Chongqing) Co.,ltd in 2020 and appointed as GM of the plant. He worked in HSE department
at Bluestar Headquart from 2018 pior to his on board of Calysseo.
He starts his career at a listed chemical company – Bluestar cleaning Co.,ltd and accumulate his production management experiences by several years of working as shift leader, production manager, BU head. He joined Adisseo in 2006 and worked as operation manager at Adistar project which is the first full process integrated methionine facility of Adisseo China, later he worked as project manager, project director successively at expansion project of Adisseo China.
Haitao PENG graduated in Chemical at East China University of Technology and got Master of Engineering Management at Nanjing Tech University.
Grace Zhang
Senior Director of Sales & Marketing Monogastric & Aqua Adisseo China
Director of Board of Calysseo Chongqing
20-year experience in feed additive industry in China, with wide exposure to the functions of sales and marketing and supply chain management. 3-year position of member of board of supervisor of listed BlueStar Adisseo Company.
She has taken the positions of national Marketing and key account manager of Adisseo China since joining the company in 2004. From 2017 to 2019, she was regional business manager for Methionine for APAC and ISC. She started to deeply involved in Calysseo project in 2020 and mainly responsible for sales and marketing functions.
Currently lead Adisseo China national sales and marketing team for the business activity organization locally.
Herman Hong
Aquaculture Senior Manager of Adisseo China
Herman Hong is the Senior Manager of Adisseo China in Aquaculture. He graduated from the Ocean University of China in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in aquaculture, and he received his MBA from the University of Northern Iowa in 2022.
In the past 12 years, he has been engaged in the work of aquatic feed, operating, and managing an aquatic feed factory for a multinational company.

In 2023, he joined Adisseo China Aquatic Products Department and is responsible for marketing and management.
With his team he will develop innovative solutions to answer the market needs through innovative thinking. They focused on feed formulation optimization to compensate the sharp raise of raw materials costs: developing new additives to improve digestibility, gut health and promote the reduction of antibiotics.
